Welcome to my Travel Blog!

Hello, and welcome to my blog! I don’t think a “my first blog post” is a typical post, especially in the travel blogger (influencer?) realm I’m trying to step into, however I can’t imagine starting a venture like this and just starting off without so much as a hello, so here it is! My hope for this blog is that it will serve me as a creative outlet for yet another one of my many passions, but also that someone else might find some use, tips and tricks, or even inspiration from it too.

A bit about me: I am currently a 24-year-old small business owner based in North Carolina who loves all things travel, planning, and Disney. At the time of writing this, I have visited 19 countries, 25 states, and 4 of the 6 international Disney resorts. I’ve always had a heart for travel, beginning with a lot of domestic travel within the U.S. from a young age, until my first big trip out of the country (not including cruises) at age 18, when I decided a week before the deadline that I was going to study abroad in Hong Kong, of all places… Really jumped in the deep end headfirst with that one. I spent 6 weeks there in the summer of 2017 and during that time, also got to check Macao and Thailand off my list. Then the following year, I was off again in March to spend 9 weeks studying abroad in France, and got to check off Great Britain, Monaco, and Italy on that trip as well. By junior year, I finally settled down and finished out my college years from our main campus in Savannah, Georgia, not without a trip here and there, of course! I applied and got accepted into the Disney College Program during my senior year in January of 2020, and I think you know where things went from there. With Covid not leaving me many options after graduation, I ended up opening an Etsy shop “for the time being”, and 3 years later, here we are. I couldn’t be happier now, running my own business creating original art, with all the free time I want to travel the world in between!

So here’s where the blog comes in: the more traveling I’ve gotten to do in the past few years, the more I’ve wanted to share about my experiences, the things I’ve learned, my favorite secret spots, etc., but I never wanted to be the annoying person sharing tips that nobody asked for, so I’m starting this blog because that means if you’re here, you’ve sought this information out, and I really hope you enjoy it! I really didn’t know where I was going with this post when I sat down to write it, but I think at this point all the bases have been covered and I’ve honestly written a lot more than I thought I would. So, not knowing where this will go, and having not told a soul about it at this point, I’m so glad you’re here (if there’s anyone here at all lol) and thanks for joining me on all my adventures, past, present, and future!
